Amplificere

Amplificere is a Danish verb meaning to increase the strength or magnitude of something. It covers making something louder, larger, or more pronounced, often by adding energy or a signal. The word derives from the Latin amplificare, passing into Danish and other Nordic languages through European linguistic history.

In electronics and physics, amplification refers to increasing the amplitude of an electrical signal.
