Altran was a French multinational engineering and research and development (R&D) services company founded in 1982. Based in the Paris region, it built a global network delivering engineering consulting and product development services across technology and manufacturing sectors. The company offered services throughout the product life cycle, including concept and design, prototyping, testing, systems engineering, software and hardware development, simulation, and digital engineering, as well as strategic R&D advisory. Its client base spanned automotive, aerospace, defense, life sciences, energy, telecommunications, and consumer electronics, with activities in Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific.
