Allradtechnik
Allradtechnik, also known as four-wheel drive (4WD) or all-wheel drive (AWD), refers to a drivetrain system that powers all four wheels of a vehicle. This system can be permanently engaged, meaning all wheels receive power continuously, or it can be selectable, allowing the driver to engage the 4WD system when needed. The primary benefit of all-wheel drive is enhanced traction and stability, particularly on slippery surfaces like snow, ice, mud, or gravel.
There are several types of all-wheel drive systems. Full-time 4WD systems distribute power to all four wheels
The application of all-wheel drive technology spans across various vehicle types, from passenger cars and SUVs
