Allergiatestaus, also known as allergy testing, is a diagnostic process used to identify specific substances that trigger an allergic reaction in an individual. These tests help healthcare professionals determine the cause of symptoms such as skin rashes, itching, sneezing, coughing, or anaphylaxis. Understanding the cause is crucial for effective management and prevention of allergic reactions.

There are several common methods of allergy testing. Skin prick testing is a widely used technique where small amounts of common allergens are introduced to the surface of the skin, usually on the forearm or back.
