Allergialääkitys, or allergy medication, refers to pharmaceuticals used to treat allergic reactions. These reactions occur when the body's immune system overreacts to a normally harmless substance, known as an allergen. Symptoms can range from mild, such as sneezing and itching, to severe, like anaphylaxis.
