Aleukia is a medical condition characterized by a severe deficiency of leukocytes, a type of white blood cell. White blood cells are crucial components of the immune system, responsible for fighting off infections and diseases. When leukocyte counts are abnormally low, a condition known as leukopenia, and specifically when this reaches a critical level affecting all types of white blood cells, it is referred to as aleukia.
