Akaa

Akaa is a municipality in the Pirkanmaa region of Finland. It is located to the west of Tampere and was established on January 1, 2007 through the consolidation of the former municipalities of Toijala and Viiala. The name Akaa derives from the historical Akaa parish and reflects the local heritage.
