Toijala

Toijala is a town in the Pirkanmaa region of Finland. It is part of the municipality of Akaa, located in southern Finland. It functioned as an independent municipality until 2007, when it merged with Viiala to form the new municipality of Akaa. Since the merger, Toijala has remained a central urban area within Akaa, maintaining its own services, schools and local identity.
