Agnostus
Agnostus is an extinct genus of trilobites, a group of ancient arthropods. These creatures lived during the Cambrian and Ordovician periods, with fossils found in many parts of the world. Agnostus trilobites are characterized by their small size, typically less than a centimeter in length, and their highly reduced segmentation. They possess a distinctive shield-like cephalon (head) and pygidium (tail), which are remarkably similar in shape and size, often making it difficult to distinguish between the two.
