Agenttipohjaisuus, often translated as agent-based modeling or simulation, is a computational modeling paradigm. It involves simulating the actions and interactions of autonomous agents, individuals, or entities, to understand the behavior of a system as a whole. These agents can represent a wide variety of entities, from individual people in a social simulation to cells in a biological system, or even economic actors in a market. Each agent typically possesses a set of rules or behaviors that dictate how it interacts with its environment and other agents.
