Achromatically

Achromatically is an adverb meaning "in a colorless manner" or "without relying on color." It is derived from the adjective achromatic, which itself comes from the Greek roots a‑ (without) and χρῶμα (color). The term is used in optics, photography, and color theory to describe phenomena that do not involve or depend on hue, such as the way light passes through a filter that transmits all wavelengths equally or the way a monochrome image is processed and displayed.

In scientific contexts, "achromatically" often refers to the behavior of optical devices or materials that behave the same for all visible wavelengths.
