Aberlours
Aberlours is the plural term used to refer to the people or things associated with Aberlour, a village in Moray, Scotland. It lies on the north bank of the River Spey in the Speyside whisky region, around 7 miles (11 km) southeast of Elgin. The name is of Gaelic origin, with Aber meaning river mouth and Lour referring to the nearby Lour Burn, which flows into the Spey near the village.
The village grew during the 18th and 19th centuries in connection with the burgeoning Scotch whisky industry.
