ATPpowered

ATPpowered is a term used to describe systems, processes, or devices that rely on adenosine triphosphate (ATP) as their source of chemical energy. In cellular biology, many energy-consuming activities are ATP-powered. Hydrolysis of ATP by enzymes such as myosin, Na+/K+-ATPase, and various kinases provides the energy that drives movement, ion transport, and substrate phosphorylation, respectively. ATP-powered transport is a central feature of active transport and membrane trafficking, with ATPases and other ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters moving substrates against electrochemical gradients. ATP is also a substrate for protein synthesis, as it is involved in amino acid activation and ribosome function, and it fuels motor proteins that convert chemical energy into mechanical work.

In technology and industry, "ATPpowered" may be used as a branding or conceptual label for products inspired
