AQ2, also known as "AQ2: Hardlight" or simply "AQ2", is a first-person shooter video game developed by id Software and published by GT Interactive. It is the sequel to the 1992 game "AQ: Alien Quest" and was released in 1993. The game is set in the year 2048 and follows the story of a group of scientists who are investigating a series of mysterious disappearances on a distant planet.
