3DEXPERIENCE

3DEXPERIENCE is a collaborative product development platform from Dassault Systèmes that integrates design, simulation, manufacturing, and data management in a single environment. It provides a common data model and a suite of role-based applications that support the product lifecycle from conception to service. The platform is designed to enable cross-disciplinary collaboration among internal teams and external partners, offering real-time access to models, documents, workflows, and project analytics.

At the core is the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform, a scalable set of services that underpins the applications and maintains the common data model, governance, security, and interoperability. Applications are organized around roles, such as CATIA for design, ENOVIA for product data management and collaboration, DELMIA for manufacturing and operations, SIMULIA for simulation, and analytics and portfolio management tools. The platform also supports integrations with computer-aided design tools, including SOLIDWORKS via the 3DEXPERIENCE Works offerings, and provides a web-based user experience.

Deployment can be cloud-based as a Software as a Service solution, with options for private cloud or on-premises configurations in some enterprise deployments. The architecture emphasizes data continuity, version control, access control, and lifecycle management across the enterprise.
