10Lt10 is an American experimental music and visual arts collective that emerged from the downtown New York art scene in 2018. The project was founded by multi‑disciplinary artist Alex Rivera, who partnered with sound designer Maya Sato to merge live performance, algorithmic noise generation and immersive projection mapping. 10Lt10’s work is commonly categorized within the broader genres of noise, ambient, and glitch, but the collective rejects rigid classification, preferring instead to present each installation as a sensory dialogue between sound, light and space.

The group's first public presentation was at the 2019 Brooklyn Night Market, where they debuted the piece “Grid Echoes,” a 20‑minute composition that incorporated real‑time data from city traffic sensors. In 2021 10Lt10 premiered “Synapse,” a multimedia installation at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, which garnered critical attention for its use of interactive motion capture and binaural audio. The collective released an independent soundtrack for “Synapse” in the same year, and the track “Cross‑Roads” entered the Top 20 of the iTunes Ambient Charts.

10Lt10 is frequent visiting artist at institutions such as the Barbican Centre, the Mori Art Museum in Tokyo and the Centre Pompidou. Their ongoing residencies often explore the relationship between urban infrastructure and contemporary soundscape, and they continue to produce collaborative work that challenges the traditional boundaries of audio‑visual performance.
