This phenomenon is frequently observed in urban environments, particularly in public transportation, pedestrian areas, or other communal spaces where individuals or groups take up excessive or inappropriate amounts of space.

The behavior can manifest in various forms, such as standing in multiple seats on public transport, blocking walkways, or occupying seating areas designated for others.
