Äänityspöydät, also known as mixing consoles or soundboards, are electronic devices used in sound recording and reproduction. They are central to the process of combining, processing, and controlling multiple audio signals. An äänityspöytä allows a sound engineer to adjust the volume, equalization (bass, mid, treble), panning (left-right stereo placement), and apply effects to individual audio sources before they are mixed down into a final output.
