Zwrócona is a small settlement in northeastern Poland, located in the Podlaskie Voivodeship. It is situated in the Grodzisk District within the Augustów Forest, one of the largest national parks in Poland.

The area of Zwrócona is mostly occupied by forests, which cover approximately 93% of its total area. This makes it a significant habitat for various plant and animal species, including carnivorous mammals and numerous species of birds.

The village has a few dozen residents, which qualify it as a negligible settlement. Despite its small size, Zwrócona attracts outdoors enthusiasts, particularly hikers and hunters, who come to explore the surrounding forests and enjoy the tranquility of the area.

One of the most notable points of interest in the vicinity of Zwrócona is the Augustów Forest's water network, which includes numerous rivers, lakes, and canals. The area is also characterized by wooded mountains, known as "ruszczone", carved out by glacial activity. These mountains provide a unique landscape feature, hosting several local species and preserving natural conditions.

In terms of human settlement, Zwrócona is an example of a rural community based on forestry and natural resources.
