It certifies that the holder has the practical skills and knowledge required to perform a trade and work in the chosen field. The programs combine classroom instruction with work-based learning, often including a work placement (APL) and a final assessment conducted in collaboration with industry partners. To obtain the yrkesexamen, students complete all program requirements and pass the final evaluation.
