Yndyra is a rare crystalline mineral described in the fictional setting of Ardent Vale. The name derives from the Old Valan word yndra, meaning luminous current, reflecting its reputed ability to conduct energy. In mineralogical terms, yndyra forms as prismatic crystals in hydrothermally altered basalt and is known for a pale aquamarine color and a faint blue phosphorescence when illuminated.

Yndyra crystals typically measure 0.5 to 3 cm, have a Mohs hardness around 8, and exhibit strong electrical conductivity and piezoelectric response. The crystals often occur with magnetite inclusions that give a subtle magnetic signature, useful for prospecting.
