yetiti
The yetiti, also known by its scientific name Uroplatymys flavimanus, is a species of rodent found in the Amazon rainforest of South America. It belongs to the family Sciuridae, which also includes squirrels and chipmunks. Yetitis are relatively small animals, typically measuring about 15 to 20 centimeters in body length, with a tail that adds another 10 to 15 centimeters. Their fur is usually a reddish-brown color on their backs, fading to a lighter shade on their bellies. A distinctive feature is their flattened, bushy tail, which they use for balance when climbing trees.
These arboreal rodents are primarily nocturnal, spending their days nesting in tree hollows or dense foliage.
