Wielodentaty refers to the phenomenon of ectodermal tissue differentiations in several types, characterized by the presence of multiple sets of teeth in an individual's mouth. This condition is also known as hyperdontia and is typically observed in humans.

In humans, the most common and acceptable form of wielodentaty occurs when an individual is born with supernumerary teeth. These extra teeth may be located in a variety of positions, including the upper or lower jaw, the maxilla, or the mandible.
