Vaccines are available for some of these diseases, such as yellow fever, which is also a viral hemorrhagic fever but is transmitted through the bite of infected mosquitoes. Research is ongoing to develop vaccines and treatments for other viral hemorrhagic fevers, but the lack of effective interventions highlights the urgent need for continued study and public health efforts to control these diseases.
