valitud
Valitud is an Estonian adjective and past passive participle meaning “chosen” or “elected.” It is formed from the verb valima, “to choose,” with the participial suffix -tud, producing valitud to describe someone or something that has been selected. As an adjective, valitud agrees with its noun in case and number, and it can also function predicatively, as in Ta on valitud, meaning “He/She is elected.”
