Uprawione Produkcje is a Polish independent film and television production company headquartered in Warsaw, founded in 2015 by director and screenwriter Jakub Kowalski. The company emphasizes socially relevant storytelling, often focusing on contemporary Polish issues such as migration, urbanization, and intergenerational conflict. Its name, literally translating to “Cultivated Productions,” alludes to the idea of nurturing narratives from conception to distribution.

The company’s early projects included the short film Nurt (2016), which earned a nomination for the Polish Film Awards in the Best Short Film category. In 2018, Uprawione Produkcje produced the documentary Diamenty z Wiejskiego Kraju, chronicling rural life in the Masurian region; the film was broadcast on Telewizja Polska and received critical acclaim for its intimate portrayal of local communities. Their most high‑profile work to date is the feature film Między Rzekami (2019), a drama about a refugee family settling in Warsaw. The film premiered at the Gdynia Film Festival and was subsequently screened at the Berlin International Film Festival in the Shorts section.

In addition to feature films, the firm has produced a range of television series, including the comedy‑drama Mieszkańcy Budynku (2021) and the historical drama Czas Łóżka (2022).
