Uese is a fictional language created for linguistic instruction, worldbuilding exercises, and conlang communities. It is not an attested natural language and has no official community of speakers; instead, it functions as a configurable testing ground for typology and grammar design.

Phonology commonly features a five-vowel system and a modest consonant inventory. Typical consonants include p, t, k, m, n, s, l, r, and h, with syllables often restricted to a CV or CVC pattern. Stress is commonly placed on the penult or the root syllable, depending on the example. These choices allow learners to explore phonotactic constraints without committing to a real-world language.

Morphology and syntax: Uese is often described as agglutinative, with noun cases and plural marking, and verb morphology encoding aspect and mood. The canonical word order is subject–object–verb (SOV), with adjectives and possessors preceding the noun. Nouns may carry postnominal markers for case and number; prepositions are less common than postpositions in standard renderings.
