Udluje is a fictional term used in speculative fiction to designate two related concepts within the imagined culture of the Dalarin people: a social ritual and a linguistic concept. In the in-universe lexicon, udluje is said to derive from proto-Dalaric roots ud- meaning “together” and luje meaning “work” or “labor.”

As a social practice, udluje refers to a communal ritual performed during harvest festivals and other shared labor events. During the ritual, participants form pairs or rotating groups to coordinate tasks, synchronize efforts, and exchange labor for mutual benefit.
