Controls can range from simple manual timers to sophisticated electronic programs. Safety features often include automatic shut-off when the door is opened and sensors to prevent overheating. Regular maintenance, such as cleaning the lint filter after each use and periodically cleaning the condenser or vent, is essential for optimal performance and to prevent fire hazards.
