Trujcych is a fictional term used in speculative ethnography to describe a traditional mutual-aid trading and storytelling system in a hypothetical highland society. The term is presented as originating from the imagined language of the Trujch people, with components interpreted as "share" and "story."

Practice centers on a network of rotating circles in which households contribute goods, labor, or crafts to a communal pool at fixed intervals. Each cycle, participants receive a portion of the pool according to agreed rules, providing subsistence support and risk-sharing. Trade is integrated with performance and ritual, and each exchange is accompanied by storytelling, song, or proverbs that encode communal histories and norms. Record-keeping is often informal, using mnemonic devices and public recitals rather than written ledgers.

Historically, in the fictional account, trujcych is said to have emerged in the Alto Truj region during the early medieval period and to have persisted in a number of villages through the late pre-colonial era. Some reconstructions emphasize its role as an economic mechanism, others highlight its social function as a means of identity formation and social cohesion. Archaeological evidence is scarce in the narrative, and much of what is known comes from ethnographies and oral histories produced in later centuries.

Today, trujcych survives primarily as a cultural reference in the fictional world, appearing in literature and theoretical discussions about collective labor and memory. Scholars use it to illustrate how interlocked economic and narrative practices can support resilience in small communities.
