Toorainese is a constructed language (conlang) designed for linguistic experimentation and for use in fictional settings. It is intended to feel natural and plausible, with a describable history, phonology, and grammar, while having no native-speaking community in the real world.

Morphology and writing: The language employs suffixal morphology for verbs and nouns, with a relatively regular paradigm. It is commonly written in a Latin-based alphabet, with diacritics to denote vowel length and stress. The orthography aims to be phonemic.
