toktök

Toktök is a traditional Kyrgyz horse-riding game, which roughly translates to "the game of marvelous horse" in the Kyrgyz language. It is a popular sport in Kyrgyzstan, a Central Asian country, and is often performed during national tribal festivals and competitions.

The objective of toktök is to demonstrate horsemanship, agility, and showmanship skills. Rid ers, typically male, are required to ride their horses at a slow pace while performing various tricks and stunts, such as jumping, spinning, and swinging their legs around the horse's body.

Toktök competitions usually take place on horseback racing tracks, and riders are judged on their technical skills, horse handling, and showmanship. In addition to riding skills, rid ers are also evaluated on their horse's appearance, strength, and agility.
