Titleholder is a noun describing a person who currently holds a title, whether awarded, inherited, or acquired by appointment. The title may be ceremonial, honorary, official, or contractual, and the holder's status is typically defined by rules or law attached to the title.

In competitive contexts such as sports, boxing, wrestling, chess, or beauty pageants, the titleholder is the reigning champion or winner.
