Open terrariums, on the other hand, have a larger opening to the air, allowing for more airflow and less humidity, making them suitable for plants that prefer drier conditions.

The success of a terrarium relies on selecting the right plants and/or animals that are compatible with each other and the specific conditions of the enclosure.
