Termijnruimte is a Dutch term that refers to the amount of time available within a given term to perform an action, deliver information, or meet a requirement. It denotes the time window or slack that makes a deadline more flexible and can prevent penalties or delays if used wisely. In project management, termijnruimte corresponds to the total float or slack in a schedule—the amount by which a task can be delayed without delaying the project finish.
