Telefonuose is a term used in the Lithuanian language to refer to the plural dative case of the word telefonas, which means telephone. As a dative form, telefonuose indicates the indirect object of an action, typically translating to “to the phones” or “in the phones” in English. It is used to show where an action occurs or to whom something is addressed, for example: “Aš skambinkiu telefonuose,” which means “I am calling on the phones.”

In everyday Lithuanian, telefonuose is commonly seen in contexts involving communication, management of phone lists, or location-based discussions. Examples include: “Kiekvienas darbuotojas turi du išvestinius įrašus telefonuose” (Every employee has two outgoing records in the phones) or “Tinkamas atsakymas telefonuose visada yra svarbus” (A proper response in the phones is always important). Because it is a case form rather than a standalone noun, it appears only in sentences with verbs or prepositions that require a dative case.
