tejo
Tejo is the Portuguese name for the Tagus, one of the major rivers of the Iberian Peninsula and its longest. The Tagus runs roughly 1,000 kilometers, with a drainage basin near 80,000 square kilometers. It rises in the eastern part of the Iberian Peninsula and flows generally westward through Spain and Portugal before emptying into the Atlantic Ocean at Lisbon.
