Tanahtetapi is a rural administrative village located in the southwestern part of Indonesia’s Java island. Administratively it falls within the jurisdiction of the Central Lampung Regency, and is part of the Jambangan district. The village covers an area of approximately 12 square kilometres and is bordered by the Setingguh River to the east and the coastal plain of Lampung to the west. Its elevation averages 350 metres above sea level, providing a mild tropical climate that supports a diversified agricultural base.
