Süttimisalise is a concept in combustion science describing a distributed ignition pattern in porous or composite materials in which ignition fronts originate at multiple subsurface points rather than from a single surface area. The phenomenon is proposed to produce more uniform heat release and can affect burn rate, penetration depth, and emissions depending on material structure.

The term is a neologism that appeared in the technical literature in the early 2010s. It combines elements related to ignition in Baltic and Northern European scientific discourse and is used mainly in theoretical discussions and modeling rather than as a widely observed everyday process.
