Styringsret is a Danish legal term that translates roughly to "management right" or "directing power." It refers to the right of an employer to unilaterally determine the terms and conditions of employment for their employees. This includes decisions about how, when, and where work is performed, as well as the assignment of tasks, the organization of work, and the selection of employees for particular roles.

The concept of styringsret is fundamental to the employer-employee relationship in Denmark. It is generally understood to be a broad right, but it is not absolute.
