Stimuluun is a fictional term used in speculative physics and science fiction to denote a hypothetical elementary particle or field. In many narratives it is described as a carrier that can transmit rapid sensory or cognitive signals, enabling interfaces between neural tissue and digital systems.

The name is a portmanteau of stimulus and the common fictional particle suffix -uun. There is no evidence for stimuluun in real-world physics, and it is not recognized as a component of the standard model.

In-universe models often describe stimuluun as a neutral boson with extremely small mass and very weak coupling to ordinary matter. Some depictions portray it as capable of modulating synaptic activity or forming controllable, localized fields that interact with neural networks.
