Vegetation is sparse in the plains while riparian zones along irrigated valleys support small-scale farming.

Administratively, Solujoukot is depicted as a province divided into rural communities and modest towns. The population is imagined to be predominantly Turkic-speaking, with a strong tradition of pastoralism and seasonal migration. The economy centers on livestock herding—sheep, goats, and camels—supplemented by irrigated crops in river valleys and by local crafts such as weaving and metalworking.
