skymningsaktiva
Skymningsaktiva refers to animals that are most active during the twilight periods of dawn and dusk. This behavior, known as crepuscularism, is a strategy employed by many species to avoid the extremes of both day and night. During dawn and dusk, temperatures are often more moderate, and predator-prey dynamics can shift. For example, diurnal predators, who hunt during the day, may have reduced visibility and be less active, while nocturnal predators, who hunt at night, may not yet be fully active. This allows skymningsaktiva animals to forage, hunt, or mate with less risk.
Many common animals exhibit crepuscular behavior. Rabbits, deer, and many rodents are often seen at these times.
