Skyblooming is a term used to describe a rare atmospheric phenomenon. These displays are not associated with auroras, meteor showers, or other commonly recognized celestial events. The colors observed in skyblooming can range from deep blues and purples to brilliant greens and yellows, and they often appear to pulsate or shift in intensity.

The cause of skyblooming remains a subject of scientific investigation and speculation. While some theories suggest it may be related to unusual interactions between solar wind particles and specific atmospheric gases at extremely high altitudes, definitive proof is lacking. Eyewitness accounts, though rare, describe the event as silent and ephemeral, with the light formations dissipating as quickly as they appear.
