Sisselaskerõhku, often translated as intake manifold pressure or boost pressure, refers to the pressure of the air-fuel mixture entering the engine's cylinders. In naturally aspirated engines, this pressure is typically at or slightly below atmospheric pressure. However, in forced induction systems like turbochargers or superchargers, the engine's intake manifold pressure is artificially increased beyond atmospheric levels.
