Shkaktarësh is the Albanian term for the common mantis, a predatory insect belonging to the order Mantodea. Known for their distinctive elongated bodies, triangular heads, and upright forearms, mantises are notable for their camouflaging abilities and predatory behavior. The common mantis typically measures between 4 to 7 centimeters in length, although sizes can vary among species.
