A serveerbord is a flat serving board or tray used in Dutch dining to present food for sharing. It functions as a base for arranging items such as cheeses, cured meats, breads, fruits, desserts, or antipasti, enabling guests to help themselves or to be served in a social setting. A serveerbord is typically placed at the center of the table or used to present a composed assortment on a counter or buffet.

Materials vary widely. Wooden boards, often made from oak or beech, are common for their warmth and natural grain. Other popular materials include slate, ceramic, glass, bamboo, or lightweight metals. Shapes range from round and oval to rectangular, with some boards featuring handles or small lips to keep items in place.

Care and maintenance depend on material. Wooden boards require hand washing and periodic oiling to prevent drying and cracking; avoid soaking and prolonged moisture exposure. Slate, ceramic, or glass boards are usually easier to clean and may be dishwasher-safe depending on the product, but sealed wooden boards may be damaged by water. To reduce staining and odor transfer, use separate boards for different food types.

In the Netherlands, the serveerbord is commonly used during informal gatherings, cheese platters, and snack presentations, often as part of a larger borrel or hapjes display. While similar to a cutting board (snijplank), a serveerbord is primarily intended for serving and presentation rather than cutting.
