Saabellikka is a term of Finnish origin, roughly translating to "Saab car" and is commonly used to refer to automobiles manufactured by the Swedish brand Saab. Saab was a Swedish automobile manufacturer that also produced aircraft and, for a time, was part of the Swedish conglomerate Investor AB. The company was founded in 1937 as Svenska Aeroplan Aktiebolaget (Swedish Aeroplane Company Limited) and began producing cars in 1949.
