Synchronisation, often referred to by its Estonian equivalent "sünhroniseerimist", is the process of aligning multiple events, processes, or data to occur or be updated at the same time or in a coordinated manner. In computing, synchronisation is crucial for maintaining data consistency across different devices or systems. For instance, when you update a file on your computer, synchronisation ensures that the updated version is reflected on your smartphone or cloud storage. This is often achieved through protocols that compare data versions and transfer necessary changes.
