Romkoordinatsystemen, often translated as spatial coordinate systems, are frameworks used to define the position of points in three-dimensional space. The most common type is the Cartesian coordinate system, which uses three perpendicular axes, typically labeled x, y, and z. A point's location is then specified by an ordered triplet of numbers (x, y, z), representing its distance along each axis from the origin, the point where all axes intersect.
